Investing in Real Estate has become one of the most cliché things to talk about in recent history. In order to become an accredited investment professional all you need is one of two things; HGTV or the latest and greatest late-night infomercial special that guarantees wealth and happiness in a very short period of time. Unfortunately, I don’t believe in either of those options, nor do I believe either is a wise investment (although I do enjoy watching the odd show on HGTV).

With respect to real estate investing, I believe in two fundamental principles:

  1. Not everybody should invest in real estate(should you and I ever have a conversation I could tell you why)
  2. Investing in real estate can be the lowest risk and highest return investment available.

Without question, one of the most rewarding parts of my job is in helping people increase their net worth through investing in real estate. I’m certainly not advertising that I am the most accredited investor in the world because I lean on others for advice all the time, but I can speak from personal experiences, many successes and even some failures.

Investment by definition is a risk. Therefore, if you chose to invest, risk is inevitable and the only remaining variable is the return you may or may not see on your investment. So let me leave you with one last question. Of all the professionals you know, who do you want on your team and who gives you the best chance at achieving a positive return on your investment?

If you think we should talk I would love to hear from you.
